  • A Four-Week Mindfulness Meditation Practicum
    Tuesdays, 6:30–7:30 PM (Zoom)
    Aug. 25 – Sept. 15
    Join sangha member Laurie Anderson for a gentle introduction to mindfulness meditation as part of her MMTCP teacher training. Through guided meditation, simple practices, and group reflection, participants will explore awareness of the breath, body, emotions, and everyday life. No previous meditation experience is needed.

    Laurie is grateful for the opportunity to offer this series and warmly welcomes both those who are new to mindfulness and those wishing to reconnect with their practice.

  • Insight Meditation Practice Groups

    TI teachers Kip Lee and Ron Vereen offer drop-in practice groups via Zoom on third Mondays at 7:00-8:15 PM. To attend, please use this Zoom link. Each session includes a check in, a partially-guided meditation, brief dharma talk and discussion. Both experienced and new meditators are welcome. The groups are offered freely in the spirit of generosity, and donations are shared between the teacher/s and TI; 80% of donations go to the teacher.   • Morning of Mindfulness in Duke Gardens

    A MORNING OF MINDFULNESS IN DUKE GARDENS

    Please join Triangle Insight co-founding teacher Ron Vereen for a “Morning of Mindfulness” on Saturday September 12th from 9am to 12 noon in the beautiful and natural setting of Duke Gardens.  Ron will lead us in exploring how mindful awareness in nature can facilitate a sense of spaciousness within which to experience the Dharma.  Various forms of practice will be used to awaken our sensitivity to the natural world and to discover the insights that nature can provide as a teacher, especially as we bear witness to the ever-present impact of our climate crisis.   Noble silence will ...more... more...
