Fall Equinox Morning of Mindfulness
Oct 11, 9am to 12pm, Duke Gardens

During the Fall Equinox, the sun and earth are positioned in a way that the earth is neither tilted towards nor away from the sun. The sun’s rays hit the equator directly leading to equal parts day and night. Our practice of the dharma is like this: not grasping towards experiences and things, not pulling away from experiences and things.

Please join Ron Vereen, one of the co-founders of Triangle Insight, for an autumn Morning of Mindfulness in the Duke Gardens (rescheduled for Saturday, October 11). Ron will lead us in sitting and walking meditation, and there will be time for mindful meandering amongst the beauty of nature on display in the gardens.

This event is being offered in the tradition of dana. For information about dana, please see this link:

You can offer dana via cash or check on the day of the event or by donating online to Triangle Insight and typing “Morning of Mindfulness” when you check out. 70% of dana collected will go to the teacher and 30% to support Triangle Insight’s general fund.
